Brad Thatcher

From IPOs and crisis resolutions to turnarounds and startups, Brad Thatcher has enjoyed working closely with CEOs, ambassadors, government ministers, university presidents and PR professionals in architecting strategic communications campaigns at all levels. Brad has spent his entire 20+ year career in the agency world serving a diverse roster of clients from his base in New York City. His experience spans three Olympic Games, major technology and telecom transformations, vital nation branding campaigns, cutting-edge higher education initiatives and strategic endeavors on behalf of the local and national media industry. Most recently, Brad and his team were recognized by the Public Relations Society of America with two Silver Anvil Awards, the most prestigious recognition in the industry, for cybersecurity awareness campaigns on behalf of The National Cyber Security Alliance and The White House.

Michelle Prince

Michelle has 20 years of experience in the Public Relations/Corporate Communications industry, during which she has worked for venerable consumer brands and media companies such as FAO Schwarz, Heineken USA, Nickelodeon and NBC. In her current role at Thatcher+Co., Michelle develops strategic communications and media relations plans for a variety of clients across entertainment and education sectors, resulting in high-impact media exposure.

 

Ivanna Garcia

Prior to Thatcher+Co., Ivanna Garcia worked at advertising and public relations agencies in Arizona and at Arizona State University. Her experience spans telecommunications, professional services, healthcare, higher education, gaming, government and nonprofit. At Thatcher+Co., Ivanna delivers formidable, daily media relations results and strategic social media services.

 

Jessica Beffa

Jessica Beffa has over a decade of experience leading successful strategic communications and public relations programs for global clients who are looking to grow their sales, increase industry thought-leadership and positively impact branding and valuation. From startups to multinationals, Jessica is a skilled intercultural communicator specializing in strategic turnarounds, new product launches, event publicity and C-suite communications.

 

McKenzie Hurst

In her fifth year at Thatcher+Co., McKenzie directs a number of the firm’s entertainment, B2B and technology accounts – from small startups to mid-sized and larger companies. She is extremely versatile in managing account teams and overseeing client relationships as well as leading messaging, writing, media relations, event planning and social media initiatives at the firm.

 

Kristen Brocoff

Kristen has 25 years of experience in PR on both the agency and corporate sides of the business resulting in a broad spectrum of national, trade and local media coverage related to thought leadership, brand positioning and product launch programs. Based in Las Vegas, Kristen frequently serves as our client’s on-the-ground liaison for tradeshows such as CES, NAB and CTIA.

 

Christina Gillham

After nearly 15 years working in journalism, including 10 years at Newsweek, Christina brought significant media experience and writing, editing and content development skills to Thatcher+Co. She is responsible for strategic communications and media relations for a range of clients in technology, education and media. She also helps spearhead the annual National Cyber Security Awareness Month campaign in collaboration with the Department of Homeland Security and NCSA’s many public and private partners, including Facebook, Intel, Visa, Google and the Better Business Bureau.

 

Barbara Thatcher

Barbara is an expert in C-suite branding, client relations, event and campaign planning, and media relations. Her previous background in the arts has resulted in a unique approach to communications – delivering stories that move the needle for global audiences across a range of industries. Her relationships and knack for story-telling has resulted in high-impact stories in outlets like The Economist, the Financial Times, Bloomberg Businessweek, Forbes, Inc., BBC World Radio, Al Jazeera America, Bloomberg TV, CNN, Fox Business, among others.

 

Rachel Quada

Rachel Quada is Thatcher+Co.’s office manager extraordinaire, executive assistant to the CEO and research assistant supporting the firm’s senior level team members and the company’s broad range of clients. Before joining Thatcher+Co., Rachel worked in non-profit fundraising and has five years’ experience with donor relations in higher education. In that role, Rachel assisted in the development and implementation of a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for the organization. Her most recent role in the non-profit arena was working with high net-worth individuals and foundations supporting a broad range of programs and initiatives in educational television.

Bragman serves as an ABC News Consultant for Good Morning America, resident Public Relations Expert for Entertainment Tonight, and has a weekly segment on MSNBC’s Jansing & Co. Bragman founded Fifteen Minutes in 2005 and it has evolved into one of the most respected boutique entertainment public relations agencies in the US. He founded BNC previously, now the largest entertainment PR agency worldwide, which he sold to IPG in 2000.

Peter Tichansky

President/CEO, BCIU

Peter Tichansky is the President/CEO of the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU), a non-profit 501(c)3 business association established in 1955 as a people-to-people initiative of President Eisenhower. Under Mr. Tichansky’s direction, BCIU has become a successful U.S. Trade Development Agency Indefinite Quantity Contractor and a provider of commercial diplomacy training to the foreign and civil service.

 

John Yoon

John Yoon is a successful technology leader with more than 30-years’ experience and a proven track record in strategy, marketing and product management. John is recognized for his strengths in building solid teams, developing marketing and product strategy, executing operating plans and delivering consistent results in both Fortune 500 companies as well as small entrepreneurial startups. Most recently, John was head of strategy and marketing for Cypher, a high-tech startup in speech recognition applications that was sold to Cirrus Logic in 2017. John holds a BA in Economics from Harvard University and an MBA from Duke University.

Dr. Laurie J Wilson

APR, Fellow PRSA

Dr. Wilson taught both undergraduate and graduate courses in public relations and communications from 1989 to 2014. In 1997, she became the first female chair of the Department of Communications at Brigham Young University. She served nationally to determine curriculum and standards for quality public relations education, including as chair of the undergraduate curriculum committee for the Joint Commission on Public Relations Education. She authored Strategic Communication Planning, now in its 6th edition, and in use in more than 200 universities nationally and internationally. She consults with organizations on strategic communication planning, and with universities in the U.S. and internationally on curriculum, accreditation and certification.
